Addison Clark Wins National Awards for Excellence in Medical Marketing
PHOENIX, Ariz. (May 14, 2009)... Addison Clark, a full service advertising and marketing firm has received a 2009 Aster Award and 26th Annual Healthcare Advertising Award for its work in Medical Marketing.
The 2009 Aster Awards Program is an elite competition recognizing the nation's most talented healthcare marketing professionals for outstanding excellence in advertising. Nominations consisted of approximately 3,000 entries from across America. Participant’s entries competed against similar-sized organizations in their category. Addison Clark was honored with a Gold Award for its work with Abrazo Health Care. The winning entry was titled ER Ad Campaign.
“Addison Clark is among the top in the nation for healthcare advertising expertise,” said Melinda R. Lucas, Aster Awards program coordinator. “They scored in the top five percent. It was an honor to have Addison Clark’s participation. They exceeded the judges’ expectations.”
Addison Clark was also recognized by the 26th Annual Healthcare Advertising Awards for its work with Abrazo Health Care. The honor comes from the oldest, largest and most widely respected healthcare advertising awards competition. More than 3,600 entries were submitted and Addison Clark received a Merit Award for the Orthopedic Services Ad and a Bronze Award for the TMC Calendar.
“Health care marketing is a very challenging segment because there are a lot of choices for patients,” said Dan O’Connor, principal at Addison Clark. “It’s very rewarding and satisfying to know the work you are doing for a client is getting noticed and they are experiencing positive results.”
Earlier this year, Addison Clark also won a 2009 American Corporate Identity Award for its work with Justice Sandra Day O’Connor’s, O’Connor House Museum. The award landed Addison Clark in the 2009 American Corporate Identity book which contains more than 950 all new examples of outstanding creativity. It organizes this year’s groundbreaking designs into seven categories: logos, complete identity programs, corporate identity manuals, letterhead designs, package designs, signage and environmental graphics and corporate brochures.
